Venezuela secured a spot in the semifinals of this year’s Caribbean series after Aguilas del Zulia defeated Cuba’s Alazanes de Granma. The game took place Saturday, February 4 and ended with a 8-3 score.

Aguilas will face Tigres de Licey on Sunday. The team from Licey is this year’s representative for the Dominican Republic. Mexico and Cuba will also play this Sunday to determine the semifinal round.
